What is Lavendise?

Thousands of people come through Lavendise every month and many of them are confused by what this place is. So I have put together this page to give people a better understanding of this magical land.

Lavendise has nothing to do with RPG (Role Playing Games like Dungeons & Dragons or White Wolf), it has nothing to do with Santa or his little elves. Now that we have the two biggest myth conceptions of Lavendise out of the way, we can now explore what Lavendise really is.

Lavendise is the land of REAL fairies. It is the name of this website but it also represents the real Lavendise that exists within the world around us. There are those people in the world who are not just human they are half human and half fairy. Those of us that are fairy can travel into Lavendise. This is not some fantasy that is made up, this is reality for us. Now you may be wondering what makes a fairy, how can you tell if you are one, etc. So I have created the beginnings of the fairy FAQ.

What are Fae?
This is the first question that needs to be answered. There are many races of fae, but we can group them into 2 types of beings, those that are pure fae and those that are half-breeds. Pure fae exist only in an energy form and are hard to detect for humans or half fae who have not awakened yet. Half-breeds are those fae which are half human and half fae.

How do you become half fae?
From what I have learned, to become half fae comes about in 2 different ways. One, you were born into a human body, or two you are awakening into the state of being fae. Those of us that were born into human children have done so in order to survive the crumbling of magic, myth and mystery. Those who are growing into becoming fae are most likely spending a lot of time with fae.

How many types of fae are there?
There are many races, too many to describe and write about here. Well over 50.

How do I know if I am fae?
Well if all this information rings true for you, then you are most likely fae. So I am fae, what does it all mean? It means that you have found the rest of us who are living our lives and struggling with it, just as you have. It means you are a powerful dreamer, you have magical talents, you are life, and you have a responsibility to grow in awareness and help the world become a better place.

Are there guidelines or rules?
Not really, just living your life with Love and Understanding, and tempering it with Compassion and Honesty.

What are the Signs that you or someone might be fae?

• There seems to be something magical about them

• Loving and gentle

• Creative

• Striving to make the world a better place

• They dress in colorful or beautiful clothes
